  2. Why do I need to register with Union Nepal Services?

    As per the requirements of the UK Money Laundering Regulation, all remittance companies in the UK must comply with the compliance rules and regulations set by the Law Enforcement Agencies to operate the business. Bearing this in mind we request our customers to register in our system which enables us to verify our customers’ identity, retain and update correct transaction details, rectify errors in time, detect and combat suspicious transactions, prevent misuse of our service and also to send our service updates, offers and promotions and other marketing information to our customers.

  3. Will my money be safe?

    Union Nepal Services is regulated and supervised by HM Revenue & Customs and FCA to provide remittance services. We have a separate remittance account where an insured deposit is held to safeguard our customers’ money in case of liquidity and other unforeseen incidents that may occur.

  4. How do I find out the daily exchange rate?

    To obtain the daily exchange rate, you can contact our office by telephone, email, text message, facebook message or visit our office in person. We occasionally send our promotional exchange rates via text message as well.

  5. Can I deposit a cheque into accoiunt of  Union Nepal Services Ltd ?

    No.

  6. How does a fluctuation in exchange rate affect my transaction?

    If you  transfer money into our account but do not wish to send the money on same day, the exchange rate of the day when you decide to send money will apply.

  7. Do I have to pay any charges?

    There is no charge for an amount of £500.00 or above. A flat charge of £3.00 applies for a transaction below £500.00 up to £100.00 and a flat charge of £5.00 applies to a transaction below £100.00.

  8. Is there any limit of transaction?

    There is no limit in the amount of money you can send as long as you can provide evidence of funds and other relevant documents to back up your transaction.

  9. What is the refund policy of Union Nepal Services Ltd ?

    We will investigate to establish the validity of a transaction and upon the completion of this procedure we can refund the money within three working days after deducting the admin and bank charges incurred. However, once we proceed the transaction no refund can be claimed.

    If a customer has already  transferred money into our account, whether he/she wishes to proceed the transaction or wants a refund, a customer must send their valid  Photo ID, current bank statement as source of fund and other relevent documents before we can proceed their transaction or refund their money.

  10. How will my comments and complaints be heard?

    You can contact us by telephone, via email or visit our office to lodge your comments, suggestions or complaints. Once we received them we will investigate thoroughly to solve any problem professionally soon.
